Every once and awhile I look at teams in higher div so that i can see where i can improve. One common theme is formations that are really tight in the back , and really high lines, no LB/RB just CDF & maybe RDF/LDF. This has no semblance to anything we see in a real futbol team all it really seems to be is catching teams offsides, no real tactics. | 02/10/2012 20:06 |

Yeah I would be pissed off too if I had been in the game as long as you and still in div 5  Jk dude, but this game has nothing to do with real life, the top teams have seen flaws in sim and use them to their advantage, it's how it will always be |

There have been teams in div. 1 who regularly used RB/LB. they are all in div. 2 or 3 now, which is in my opinion a strong indictment of the quality of RB/LB in general... | 02/10/2012 21:41 |

...however, it is worth mentioning that RDF/LDF can't stop an RM/LM or RIM/LIM and have lots of trouble stopping RW/LW all by themselves, so if you look more closely you will see that the best div. 1 teams rely upon midfielders (and not just DFM) to defend alongside their defenders. | 02/10/2012 21:43 |

Dirk, dont think of this as a real simulation of football, its a game designed around the basic concept of football. Play it as a game and find its weaknesses and strengths - those are the core attributes to building Striker Manager tactics. |

Dirk, dont listen to div1 teams , they always have a justification for their bad tactics  .you have good one , and now, just make another experiments with your own tactics, show them how football plays is . |
