RBs and LBs from my experience are almost useless. In a traditional sense they should be quite effective if utilized correctly, but as a relativity new user I had no patience with something that wasn't efficient. It rendered my 4-3-3 formation unusable,to my dismay.Just want to know if any managers agree and have faced a similar dilemma.

They are usable and can be OK in lower divisions, as they are cheaper and generally faster than RDFs and LDFs of that level, but as you get higher, you need the ball steal and aggressiveness that you can't necessarily get out of backs. That's my opinion. 03/10/2012 02:57

RB and LB's that are properly trained are just as effective if not more than RDF/LDF's. 03/10/2012 03:44

They do much of what RDF and LDF does, very effective.
