*With the help @Gunner* Forecast and progression are two important things to be considered while buying / selling / training players. You may unlock forecast by paying 10 GB after you achieve 8000 experience points in game. Way to see EXACT progression is when a player is in school or pay 10gb and unlock forecast and progression of a player. We may have a rough idea of forecast with GB search, where we can search for players with more than specified progression but it does not provide us exact progression value. Let’s see the following forum post now @GunnerNic said: Progression is just a % growth rate, ie the rate at which a player will train from the time he leaves school till the time he reaches his peak number( for example 75) It is a fixed value - this is important to understand (If it changed all the time, it would be difficult to calculate) Now, the trick is to fully understand the forecast because this DOES change. If a player is 14 or 15 and just out of school his forecast will show the maximum he can achieve. With good training (especially as a junior) he can attain this number (I dont want to call it a value because that pertains to a monetary amount). With little training or promotion too early or leaving a player unpromoted at 19 etc (low morale) or playing a player out of position - these impact on the players forecast but not his progression. If you buy a player with low morale and maybe a medium forecast (say 55), boost his morale and train him at least once a week, you will see his maximum number on his forecast actually go back UP (but not to the same amount as he was at 14) So, saying all that you can see that age does not matter when checking forecast, and age is not in the equation for calculating progression either. Now, forecast reaches a peak and starts to tail off. If a young player has been vigorously trained and reaches his forecast peak at 19 he will plateau for a long time (stay at that number) but then start dropping. Cheers and hope that helps As said above these are the features of progression 1. It is fixed. 2. Does not vary with age or average. 3. It’s % of what a player can learn from specific training and coach. But still players with same progression might show different forecast due to 1. Age if not trained properly initially. 2. Coach level. The impact of coach varies from player to player, some may show no increase in forecast with increase in coach level, some show near negligible and some show considerable improvement in forecast. This depends on various factors which are still unknown as formulae for calculation of forecast are not yet cracked. 3. Early promotion of juniors without getting yellow ‘P’, players promoted earlier will lose forecast considerably. 4. Late promotion even after getting red ‘P’, being in junior even after getting 19 years of age. Promoting late means spoiling forecast of a player 5. His type, i.e., GK, CF and so on. Normally GK are designed to have higher forecast than other positions with same progression. 6. Seems to increase a point or two with good training over 2 or 3 seasons of training. In simple forecast is like maximum distance you may go with your vehicle and progression is speed at which you can go. If you are still interested let’s discuss some complicated issues in player progressing to the maximum forecast Issue 1 : I have two players with same progression, 1. 40 avg 22 years age 2. 35 average and 14 years old. Will they both show same forecast? Ans : No, the player 1 is not trained properly so his FC decreased considerably, train him, you will see his maximum number on his forecast actually go back UP (but not to the same amount as he was young). Issue 2 : My player’s training value dropped overnight, what is the reason? Ans : A. Is his motivation low than the time when he was trained previous day? B. Is his training type same? Not all trainings have same impact over a player. Some affect only a specific % on specific stats on Specific positions. Like a 85+ progression GK will improve 0.8 overall average and 1.1 ‘saves’ attribute and a small amount of like 0.1 leadership is also increased with ‘Saves’ training. For more info on which training effects a specified type of player / attribute of a player refer to https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ah_mRsFIHgwgdG85bnQxZ2kzc1ZiZlhLZkE4ekllMFE#gid=0 C. After the player’s individual attribute reach a particular value, the improvement of training will start to reduce on that attribute with the progression being same, I call it the ‘speed breaker’ . Let’s again take example of GK mentioned above. Suppose ‘saves’ attribute reaches 70 ( not average of player, individual stat) the amount gained from saves attribute will fall, let’s say 0.58 instead of 0.8 overall average growth, 0.7 saves instead of 1.1 ‘saves’ attribute increase and 0.1 leadership attribute with the same saves training, same coach and motivation level, here 70 is the speed breaker for saves attribute, as the leadership attribute has not reached its speed breaker it’s improvement is same. This makes it difficult and more time taking for a player to reach his maximum forecast. Similarly all types of players have individual attribute training speed breakers according to their forecast and progression. Hence 4 things affect training of a player 1. Progression, the more the progression the more the amount of training 2. His Motivation, 3. His type, i.e., CF, GK, RF, LIM, RB etc., 4. Individual stat speed breaking point. |

In this thread. . . . Vijji said: 4. Late promotion even after getting red ‘P’, being in junior even after getting 19 years of age. Coach: The coach's quality also influences when achieving a good average. Note: When a youth player gets red “P” (that indicates the player is ready to be promoted to the senior team) you should promote him, otherwise the player’s progression will drop one point with every passing day in the junior team after appearing the red P. ..... . ......Can any1 EXPLAIN ??? Means, don't promote late, as soon as you see red P, promote the player. | 07/10/2012 14:59 |
