Is it just me, or accuracy of the forwards are becoming crappier? Do your players aim the net well? | 08/10/2012 14:37 |

most forwards are extremely short sighted or need eye surgery to determine the goal post positions. Its an accepted fact of the game now. | 08/10/2012 14:56 |

I watched my recent game, and gosh, it's a total heartache. My team had many chances to score an equalizer, and the worst attempt came from my OM, two of his shots near the penalty line had gone kissing the post. This has been going for too long in SM. I had seen "open goal" misses which are more hilarious than the real life ones, and I also seen double standards in the simulator's offside judgement, where the linesman allowed a player to advance forward, but disallowed the opponent when he was at the similar position. The simulator truly needs more working. I believe this is not just my problem, everyone is facing that too. What is more disappointing than seeing your forwards playing as if they are shortsighted on the pitch in their efforts to score an equalizer, even if they have a decent "shots" stats. |

My theory is that the wide shots are not because of a crappy striker, but rather because of a good GK. Rather than have GK's make saves it seems the devs have decided a good GK makes shots go wide. I could be totally wrong about this, but from watching some games this seems to be what is happening. | 08/10/2012 16:23 |

This has been my thought as well. My strikers seemed much more accurate in division four last year and even more so in division five the year before. |

Its always been the same, the official line from the devs is that if they don't make strikers miss more often than in real life, then youd end up with 11-10 scorelines. They could just make gk's save more, but this is the direction they have decided to go. The best player ive ever seen on spanish sm had a shot accuracy of 65 per cent(with 15 skill points). However hes obviously up against 15 skill point ave 99 gk's. A div 3 player over here should be having 30 to 35 percent accuracy. Which is what you see 1 in 3 on target ish.
