Hi, check out my most recent match. I have advanced tactics that have been carefully employed, yet I continue to lose to inferior teams like this one. Is this just a case of the game favoring DFM / interior players? Should I just get rid of my RM/LM and do what everyone else is doing with the tight formation in the middle? | 12/11/2012 13:15 |

I guess my point is, in the real world teams employ and use RM/LM and RB/LB, but there isn't as much use for them as the game is currently configured. Any CONSTRUCTIVE feedback? |

Used to be offside trap but now that most people can get around it quite easily people just pack up the defense. I personally think you can still pack up the defense even with LM/RM Also this forum is for BETA simulator http://en3.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=278030 I am guessing this thread is about the normal (stable) sim so I I am moving the thread to general forum. |

I watched some of your game and could tell exactly how all three goals were going to be scored after the first ten mins. To be honest, your attack works quite nicely, you're making chances and your forwards interact quite well with your LM/RM. However you're defense is another matter. Against teams that attack in the centre, you've got to defend in the centre, unfortunately you have a big hole in the middle. I normally cover that hole with a DFM or. Alternatively you could push one of the cdf's across to cover that hole. Also your defense is dropping too deep, try moving the defensive line forward a bit. they just back off and invite a shot at the mo. |

Like grantis said, you are giving chances to the opposition with that hole. Also, You need to find balance with your advanced positioning of players on the ball and the tactics line. If the bar is too far to mid field but you have them (defenders) placed behind the ball under advanced formation as it gets closer to your GK, you will see them running backwards with the opponents forward almlst as if they are playing against you..lol Relax, its a game afterall. Div 6 and 5 were a breeze but div 4 and down takes time and strategy. Edited by cmccourt 13-11-2012 22:34 |
