If it makes you feel better, someone just hostiled my 48 ave gk for 15m. I have no idea why he did it as hes paid well over the odds. But now I can find another similar one for about 8-10m and pocket the 5m. | 06/02/2013 20:30 |

Selling your players is good thing, because it is additional profit. Just set the right price for them. I usually look at Similar transfers and set the second highest price of last 1-3 months. So, if somebody buys my player, I'm happy. Don't forget readjust prices once in a while (I usually do it once in a week) |

And i just spent 9m on a ave 51 gk, who may be old but has lots of skills. So 3 points better and 6m in my pocket. | 06/02/2013 20:39 |

Thank you for all the answers and guidance. Just seems this stealing people's player makes the whole notion of a contract meaningless. In actuality, NONE of my players are really mine since any of them can be stolen from me by someone with more money who wants him badly enough. Sorry, but that's a flawed game mechanic. | 06/02/2013 23:11 |

Yes they can be stolen from you at any moment, but if your clauses are good enough and someone buys the player you'll make a nice little profit and be able to buy a better player (like what @grantis mentioned) I don't think it's at all flawed, because it makes you pay a salary that is appropriate for the player. If it wasn't that way then people could just pay their 90 average players the same amount a 20 average player would get. For example, This guy: http://en.strikermanager.com/jugador.php?id_jugador=684388 cost me 70 million, I set his clause at 117 million and I'd be more than happy if someone bought him for that much from me, because I could buy a better player and keep a nice little bit of money from the sale. Now nobody is presumably going to buy him from me at that price because they could find a similar player for less. It's all about setting the clauses at a price that would make you happy if the guy sold. |
