How do you like setting your strikers up? Do you use the LF-OM-RF line, dual CFs, 3 man striker system of of LW-CF-RW, or just a single CF? etc.

What is your preference and why? Do you like using CFs or LF/RFs?

I know that each position merits their own use and can be useful, I'm just really curious to see the general opinion that other managers have.

I like using LF/RF with LM/RM on the outside for support, and playing a IM one spot below where a OM would normally play 09/03/2013 04:48

Golden Ball
CF (LIM,RM) plays as LF RF those mids are very beneficial can drop deep and same time can score from long distances. The other secrete is they are cheap compared to LF,RF,LW,RW 09/03/2013 12:22

for me, stats > position. currently using 2 strikers (LF/RW) with midfield support. may switch to LF/CF/RF next season depending on opponents' formation.

Interesting line ups, guys.

I see a lot of people do not use the traditional line ups such as LF/CF/RF or LW/CF/RW. Is there a reason for that? For me, I'm using a CF/RW combo with the RW acting as both an assister and goal scorer. Does anyone have a line up for a forward combo that can interchangeably pass to each other? Or is it based upon individual player stats?

it really is best to work out formations for yourself to begin with.

formations are also affected the red/yellow/green tactic bars, and the 4 tactic sliders (effort/defence/attack/play). Think of it like fine-tuning when you have a formation you're happy with.

You left out the most important part aleph,

Than BAM! Updates to sim and formation goes In The water...lol then you re-fine tune.

In fact you should always be fine tuning your tactics since every opponent is different.
