I get, at most, three offsides per game using advanced formations. yep, I've never seen a legit offsides call in someones half, the player creeps across the halfway line and then comes back to take the pass. It's an offside that would probably never happen in real life, but the sim guys do it a lot. I've got a formation that puts the forward pretty far ahead on the attack, but even with that formation I don't get a lot of offside calls. If you're really worried about offside traps, place all of your players behind the ball in advanced formation and you'll be good. |

no such thing as offside in own half, your player is always coming back from opponents half. Yes the placement of the FK is wrong but the offside call is valid. I have never ever seen an offside in own half i would love to be corrected but sadly i have been waiting 6 months and still only ever see valid offsides, sort your tactics and formation and you will be fine. You just need to figure out the advance formation. I used to get 15-20 offsides per game, the most I get now is 5. And the opposite team get 10-15. | 02/04/2013 19:41 |

Oh I can see that, playing behind the ball would reduce it and moving my defense up would ensure more offsides on the other team - Hence my comment on the winning formula of 10 men on the midfield. Is the sim really limited to that? I was hoping to here some ways of beating the opponents who (too easily) play an overly aggressive offside trap and are rewarded for it in this game. Easy to beat in real life, not so much here it seems If you can't beat them......alas we must join them it seems |
