It is ridiculous for people to try and get gold balls for having the league's highest scorer by hostile-clausing some 30 avg player from division 6. It could even be argued that this is a willful cheat of a 'bug' in the game. Please don't do this; if you have already done this, consider firing the player to make up for the mistake. I'm holding back from linking to the manager who did this in my league (No my player is nowhere close to being top goalscorer) . Things like this make you look stupid. |

Yeah.. had same issue last season . You and I both know it has happened every season. It is kind of childish and immature but people will do what they can to get freebies. Oh and don't worry, you don't have to link the manager.. I can just go to your div table and see for myself. |

This really should be seen as taking advantage of a fault in the game and therefore forbidden and punishable. I can't believe the developers have not stopped this from happening yet.....did I really just say that  |

Hnm! Just passing-by,but I dont think that it bad to buy a top scorer....i need forward,and I can buy with release clause/transfer agreement or auction and dont know the he be the top scorer 2)some people need gb but cant buy due to their country and SM and will buy player to have it(+50).... Team with the player can high his scorer clause to avoid that,nothing todo with the devs |

I would concur with your argument, but looking at the situation more closely you uncover a few things. 1) a Div 3 manager has no business buying a div 6 player that clearly has no upward mobility. 2) In regards to this example, a div 3 manager (or any manager for that matter) buying a player for 2.5 million because it has an enormous amount of goals scored, takes away the hard work that other managers have put forth in training there scorers. That hostiled player, scored those goals in a league that barely has avg 40 goal keepers. That same player would not score a single goal in this div 3 group. 3) Its an exploit because everyone knows about it. I would look the other-way if it was a new manager who in DIV 6 bought another div 6 player and had no idea he bought the player with such high goals scored and had no idea about the exploit. At least in this scenario the manager is completely unaware of the GB bug. 4) We had an exploit awhile ago where managers would rig the "click link" url in order to gain GB's. It was proven to be an exploit and unfair to the real managers who were spreading the good word about this game. IT was then decided that any person using this exploit was abusing the system and was either banned or system reset. so you see the same rules apply. I would give you the argument of, some managers cant buy GB's but in hindsight, everyone in the community here has kept on top of the issue of a need for a better payment option so all managers from all over can afford GBs. Just recently it was announced in the Uplay blog that such a system is coming. So you see, there is no need to exploit the game any further at this point for that reason. |
