It's been 2 great years, but the time has come for us to say goodbye

Interest in the game's been fading for quite a few of us, some quitting on the way and some simply getting less active, so all in all, we decided to disband for the time being.

I would like to thank all the members of this special Private league who played with us during last 2 years, as well as our rival private leagues who made sure we kept trying harder.

Was thinking about making a longer goodbye post, but i think i covered the main points, so let's keep it at that.

On behalf of all the pirates,

~H

I will not single just Pirates, but reflecting on their decision to disband (hopfully temporarily), i will take this opportunity to pay homage to the Big PL's and their members (Pirates, Mercenaries and Ninjas)

It was the inter PL rivalry which got me interested in the SM in the first place. Even though I could not be a part of the big 3 as they use to be collectively called/envied, it was fun to interact and learn with members from each of these. What other thing it did for many noobs like me is that we knew that there are these group of people who will listen and possibly help us. It became easy for us to get a hold of the game.

These major PL members also have contributed a lot to SM and its growth. Its sad to see them go, but SM in its current avatar can not hold interest of intellectual people for a long time.

So thanks guys.

p.s. @grantis, dont edit this, it has no jokes.

Getting that cut throat invite to join the greatest PL from the half lizard half pirate was one of the greatest day of my SM career. Even tough we are disbanding now and have to lead a comparative normal life but the fun I had will remain unparalleled.

All the best to all the guys wherever you are and it will be an honor for me to meet any of you in real life if I can.. If you ever come to India send me a message

Time to say bye to one of the most genuine private leagues of SM. It will be weird to see all those members that were there from the beginning in other places. I think everybody is looking forward or hoping in some way to see these sailors back in the same place!

It was nice to have you in SM, you gave it that kind of thing that made it interesting.
