u need to start from day 1 with intense activity to prg quick in this game reading all i say all the info in forums can equip any manager with the knowledge required to get to div2 in 10 seasons imo just looking at your team and its easy to see why u have failed to date 1, not maxing pl revenue - join top PL = higher gates 2. ur way of youth farming is wrong - dfm /cdf/rdf/ldf training u havent made a youth formation to have 5 defenders 2 dfms starting games + 1 rim 1 lim 3 r u getting 160% motivation sat sun mon after temp promo's for youth plauyers? 4 u needed 100% coaches asap - 1 week in tense searching will get u 90%'s then u needed to use gbs to 99% 5 3 senior and youth loans allowed in and out each season - u should use this to max benifits 6 r u making friendlies with big teams away - makes lots of cash 7 your early money should go into your stadium till it is optimal 8 holland 5* is commonly the best school to start with - always makes healthy profit - u been u/l with brazil and argentina - r they 5*s - we cant see as u have them private 9 hostile day - u should be making 1 gr8 signing the second its poss then 4 hrs later make several quality youth singings - manual searching every d4 + youth team day of hostiles 10 short list - if u cant have pack manager for its amazing short list u will have to make one using links  11 etc... i could go on, u seem ok guy frustrated by lack of prg - but reading the forums would help us all - i didnt read them for my 1st season and regret that - its been many more than 1 for u - this is a good game and i hope u prg now at fast rate many managers here given u gr8 advice and its rare these top managers bother to reply same questions time after time my personal hero on this game was eam - steel city masters in div 2 now - joined nr a season after me has gr8 transfer skills + tactics oh lastly top top managers scout every opposition and alter their own tactics accordingly, i cant be arsed and have same tactics every game as watching sims isnt for me- just the result of a random number generator so whats its really gonna tell me nb clearly we all know the game favours all the managers here in season1 - even those who finished 5th some seasons were promoted in the games rush to have 7 dvs playing - rewarded the inept for sure and now yeah the game is too slow - i would like to get rid of pl's and play extra 2 league games / week thus a season would run in 6 weeks Edited by wiveliscombe afc 20-02-2014 20:06 |

Palefox, You feel like quitting when you don't really understand the game. When I started, I don't understand nuts about this game and how it goes. Thanks to numbers of managers who helped me and I listened to their advise and now I am looking for back to back promotion. It is basically you ask question from higher div managers because they been playing this game for more than years. None of the higher div manager teach me how to cheat. They told me what are the guidelines to follow. They will teach you how to be a better team and advise you where are the areas you could improve. I am sure there are managers willing to help if ya interested. None of the @'s are cheaters, they know the rule of the games. they are willing to help as well if there's anything you need to know. its not original - been mooted b4 - my guess is devs believe longer seasons = more gbs spent - i suspect opposite would be true though sadly any ideas we suggest just arnt read by the devs because not of them have ennglish - not sure what @ rand is but he doesnt read our forums just posts updates its why i dont read or write in suggestion forum, even though i know many ideas are gr8 in there and alot of thought gone in i like this thread though |

This guy has practically brought down the spirits of the gods of SM. Kudos bro! And here's where I have to pay tribute to BoneCrushers. Then, an IM of such quality was a big deal. I got him "cheap" from an inexperienced BoneCrushers.  Now, compare both of us; he can never be relegated to division 3. He has tasted division 1, and might as well taste it again. I lie in 6th position in division 5. He's 50 times richer than me! He's a billionaire; I'm only a millionaire. •sobs• •cleans tears• It was only recently that he passed my team in the rankings. •sobs again - uncontrollably• So you see, you have to wake up dude. Stop blaming the @s; make a few friends in top divisions; and buy Gbs if you can. For everyone to turn against you, it means you're simply wrong. Good luck in the game. Shorter seasons would actually keep people from training players up so fast. A 14 year old would only have 34 weeks of potential training as a junior (assuming you got him the first day of the season) where currently a 14 year old has 50 weeks to train as a junior, so no more 85 av 18 year olds, or not as many at least, On one hand I'm in favor of getting rid of PL's entirely as their usefulness as competitive leagues has all but gone away in the last 3-4 seasons. On the other I like them as they help you get your team back to full stamina and you've got a group of people who you can work with to build a better team. I dunno if I'd want weekend league games because I'm usually busy on the weekends, but I am in favor of a shortened season. |

If you could train all positions every day, rather than just one, you could acquire good quality juniors and train them up. The change needed to the hostile system is whatever it takes to NOT need to pay players a salary so high that the hostile clause is $4B so they are not snatched. If you make the season shorter, I suggest changes so every player can train every day and some change to the hostile system. In my opinion, the main problem is that managers do not want to invest the time or have the patience to play the game. They want to go from div 6 to div 1 immediately....not even in 6 seasons. They want instant gratification...if you want that, go play angry birds lol [As for SM Alpha, it was so hard to understand with the lack of English in the beginning that I have essentially abandoned it. I check in from time to time but have not even made an advanced formation because the layout to do so is ridiculous. Frankly, SM Alpha just looks like an unnecessary face lift...] |
