Actually, Ali did post something to that effect - that this forum is only for the use of Olympus Circle members, though I cannot find it now. Still, as an admin of this group I am saying that this is a forum for members of The Olympus Circle only. The only ones who can agree for non-members to post are Ali, ronnie, and myself. The market forum, as it acts as a useful service, is a little more free, though we do ask that non-members refrain from spamming. If you want to talk to a non-member, use a different facility than here. |

What's your strategy on creating huge income for your club? Selling Lots of Soda's ? Am interested to hear different strategies so that we can learn what works best. On average I still rely mostly on my ticket sales (~8 mil per home game), but am hoping to shift towards player sales revenue dominant income. So far this is mostly based on the strategy of buy cheap youth, train until they are promotable and then sell off. Haven't really explored the more aggressive strategy of buy cheap hostiles and sell them immediately at higher. |

I've never liked that kitchen to be honest. It's purely a waste of time and quite demanding as well, and oh! You need golden balls to keep up with the demand --- just for how much soda and coffee revenue? Ugh! How I make my money? There's no secret here; you've probably heard a thing or two that I'd say. You, Tyekanik, said: Haven't really explored the more aggressive strategy of buy cheap hostiles and sell them immediately at higher. This is the only the advanced style of grabbing a few more millions. imo, you should only do this when you're comfy in real life. Sometimes, you have to waste nearly 5 rounds of search+ to get results. Yeah, I said "waste"! That's a whooping 250 gb's! And that's no guarantee! Those who are successful at it buy tons and tons and tons of gb's in order to regularly search and get constant results. So, remember, only when you're comfy in real life! Making money with in-game features just got easier with the STORE. Last season, I tracked my production and sales records of boots, jerseys and all that, and I was really surprised at my revenue-to-sales ratio. Cost of production - $38, 533, 100 Sales - $93, 057, 467 Profit - $54, 524, 367 This, I was able to achieve with optimum store levels, i.e. Level 5, and a maximum 8, 000 stuffs to manufacture. Aside this, You also said: ... but am hoping to shift towards player sales revenue dominant income. So far this is mostly based on the strategy of buy cheap youth, train until they are promotable and then sell off. This is also by far, one of the best ways to make cash! There are times when the market is favourable, and there are times where you'll regret selling your farmed player early. Fiscals get it wrong sometimes. For sometime now, they usually clamp down on people who set their players' prices at high levels, somehow far away from similar transfers. For me, I do it, but with caution. I sold this player - http://en.strikermanager.com/jugador.php?id_jugador=14448046 - at $250m. This was twice his value at that time, when he was 17. Yeah, a few similar transfers tended towards $200m or thereabout, but selling him at $250m was an uphill task. I had sold an 79/18 IM for only $90m, when the market wasn't good. Sure I didn't want it to repeat itself, so I set my price for the above linked player at $250m so that in case the market of IMs of same stats skyrockets (to maybe $300m) on the long run, the loss would not be that cruel. $300m - $90m = $210m loss. $300m - $250m = $50m loss. This is where fiscals sometimes get it wrong. They'd sometimes think that both the buyer and seller connived to buy the player above market value, but no! The seller might just be a wise business man, hoping not to incur too many losses as time goes on. Imagine selling ten IMs at $90m, and the market suddenly shoots up, you'd have lost much millions. So my point is, know the right time to sell your player, and set his price at one in which you'll be comfy with, and not lose much. I applied this, and raked in nearly a billion from these two boys: http://en.strikermanager.com/historial.php?id_jugador=13777646 http://en.strikermanager.com/historial.php?id_jugador=14055560 Edited by Ali Agharabi 06-04-2014 18:59 |

If you sub a CF in to the spot taken by a DFM, the CF will play like a (terrible) DFM. You'll need to make a formation change at the same time, keeping an eye on which number corresponds to which player, or you could have a real mess on your hands. |
