Is it me or are players really, really droping in prices? I just saw a 87 average RDF with 95 peak gone in auction for 115 m It is just a most recent example, I saw some others similar jaw droping transgers recently too. So what is your take on this? Are prices droping record low and will that change? Also, why did it happen? |

The greater the supply the lower the price. As more and more managers train players the less the demand! It's pure Economics. |

True I guess, but 95 forecast defender already trained to 87 is not just a matter of a demand but (or at least it was in the past) a matter of investement. So I am not sure why such thing is happening since it is logical to me that all menagers that train defense would jump in on the guy for that price. I didn't had the money but I am sure there are plenty of menagers in higher leagues that do have money. Or am I wrong? |

There is really a lot to it man.... Yeah, some managers have money but you did not consider what might be their want or desire at that point in time! On other hand, you talk about advertisement, most managers might not be aware of the auction. Again, you take time factor into consideration.... I mean the time of auction (day and period of the season) as it affect market! Ceteris paribus, we are experiencing deflation! Edited by Oyewale 24-08-2015 23:28 |

Suppose it was an OM, do you think it will ever go for that price. Why are OMs so expensive here? Cos they are rare! Whereas  Fs/XBs can be found any day any time and thats why they sometimes come really cheap despite the averages. |

Yeah, but for xBs that was the case since majority of players doesn't even want them; for xDfs it wasn't the case a season ago. I think Oye nailed it, since it is possible that he was sold at "wrong" time of the day, not advertised and what ever else factor my have contributed to such low price. Trained to full potential it is a 1000% profit so thats what stuned me when I saw it. But I am more concerned about the "similar transfers" system of price checks because of this. Because unexpirienced menager, making the auctions from 0 without advertisement and leting them finish at 3 am, will influence my next sale potentionally. Edited by ForzaJuve! 24-08-2015 23:40 |

You are talking about market value here, normally some positions are more expensive compared to others, just like the example you gave but not true with xDFs! |
