whoever suggested the idea of imposing 10% tax on any player one buys is going to be the downfall of this game..it a ridiculous economic policy ....upcoming managers are always going to be in deficit....you raise money to get a player and you end up paying 10%tax and you still pay formation right on the same player....getting seriously annoyed.....

I hate the taxing system too. Sometimes i am afraid of hostiling very good players as they always demand higher salary which means higher taxing. 06/08/2016 15:49

Wrong idea, you take that into consideration before making your transactions. 06/08/2016 16:57

You don't pay tax on salaries. You pay tax on player purchase.

The tax is a one time deduction based on the sales price of the player. It is is graduated with 10% being the highest tax.

It has been in place for years without any issues. It was there when I started in Div 6 and I've managed to rise to Div 2 without the game coming a downfall.

Perhaps, remember to keep 10% of any purchase in your bank and you won't have any worries.

I think the seller pays for the formation rights, and not the buyer

Simple solution: Don't buy very many players, train them up from your youth squad......... 08/08/2016 22:17

He means if he buys a player he pays 10% tax on the purchase and if that player has formation rights, he may lose between 2 and 12% on his subsequent sale.

So don't try to game the market on a quick buy and sell on without adding any value to the player. Or make sure you factor in formation rights in your sales price. Quite frankly, anyone who buys a player with formation rights at the then current market price auction price and the next day/week tries to sell that player at a much higher price deserves it. Maybe the devs implemented both to curtail that practice?
