Agree eam if they can do it it will help a lot. Someone before mention it will kill game interaction ect and i dont think so. You can message anyone to chat or go to forum for that but if you want to make transfer agreement only auction. If you want to get player but you dont want that player to go on auction it can only mean one thing''you want him below market price''. |

Now that is the best quote I have seen yet, I can't see it being a problem for them to sort direct purchase, they did it few years back on 14-15 year olds |

Nothwithstanding with above we will expect a post to the public thread by @Heidtstra. I can absolutely understand your concern and appreciate your attempt to bring light to what is an important issue within Striker Manager. You are absolutely correct in saying that the general users within the game deserve a far greater level of transparency than has been afforded to them thus far (and to be honest, has ever has been offered). Unfortunately, these problems run far deeper than you are aware of. With respect to @Fahorax, I want to make sure that the general public does not lose sight of the larger issues here. @Fahorax has been a model administrator for nearly two years. He has received three fines in his four year career, none of which have come since taking office. It is very difficult to last that long without transgressions, and though they are not to be excused, when we evaluate new members we do so using patterns of behaviours rather than isolated incidents. Given the great experience and esteem he held in other areas of the game was given much greater priority. I still believe that he is one of the (very few) honorable remaining administrators. With this particular case, the overall unit is at fault (myself included). When @Fahorax was pursing this particular transfer, he did everything correctly. He approached the fiscal team with the player and requested an acceptable price (not a minimum or maximum price) from multiple administrators. As a group, we evaluated the player and three administrators responded to consensus at 700M. At this point, @Fahorax was bound to that price by our rules and regulations the same as any other manager would be. Obviously, in hindsight, this value was incorrect -- we made a mistake. Moving forward, the case is under evaluation and reaction is pending. Since it was brought to our attention, there has been consistent dialogue and @Fahorax has participated towards a solution. He has offered, without much opposition, to reverse the transfer and/or pay an appropriate fine for the transfer. These are the standard responses to such a case, though it is unprecedented that a singular manager is held at fault for the majority team. For what it is worth, I can only assure you that we are actively looking into the process. Unfortunately, as volunteers with limited resources, these things can take a few days. What I want to emphasize here, is that there are much bigger issues at play here. Though I can appreciate that this individual case has sparked the conversation, I want to make sure that the dialogue does not start and end here. These greater issues (things like shared @ accounts, reset stamina, removed IP connections and persistent transfers, excessive click notifications etc.) should be the focus of conversation. We very much have a corrupt unit of individuals at the helm, and very little support from the developers to rectify beyond ourselves. I will prepare a detailed response of these issues for the public in your thread -- I am more than happy to bring them to light and face whatever scrutiny the team deserves -- but please be patient, as I do not want to miss anything. So the pricing of the player is wrong? (yes) Possible solutions reverse transfer or fine the manager appropriately it's simple. And in the first place why will the pricing be wrong ? How do they @s value players to make this mistake?(yeah everyone is bond to make mistake blah blah blah) but you guys are the authority here. Devs? They've abandoned us for quite some long time now so people in power need to check their powers to avoid we the ordinary game players seeing them as corrupt individuals. Sharing some light on @Eam's explanation, I have to fire a 75/18 DMF yesterday just to make room for a new purchase.the most disheartening thing is that, i was offered 30m for that player earlier this season but i pushed it off saying it is too low. But what happend? I wasted 500k to fire him. Yeah it's frustrating to keep a player you won't be using on the bench. look at me, keeping a 96avg LF on bench for only pl and friendlies games. I should sell, But i will be needing him next season so keeping him is the best option. Why will you keep a player you won't be using on bench? And to make matters worse paying his salary? Best thing to do is get rid of that player by all means. So when the option presented itself, he acted swiftly as he should do. |
