I'll give you a tip to get maximum profit from ticket income. First I'll tell you the algorithm the game uses to fill the capacity of your seats. Lets say the number of seats in any type = Capacity. Now SM has a formula which looks like this. Attendance = (supporters * a + opponent supporters * b + your current division * c + star players * d + celebrity players * e + floodlights level * 5% * f + scoreboard level * 5% * g) * (quality of seat / ticketPrice) * importance of match * h - rand()%50; Now you don't know what a, b, c, d, e, f, g and h are.. they are floating point values. As Income = Attendance * ticket price, your maximum profit may not be always getting maximum stadium attendance. It could lie at high ticket price. What you know is Attendance that you got in the previous game. One easier way to solve this is always maintain your stadium attendance at Capacity - 1000. If your attendance is more than Capacity - 1000 in the previous game, increase the ticket price by 2$ for the next game. If your attendance is less than Capacity - 1000 in the previous game, decrease the ticket price by 2$ for the next game. If you plot the ticket prices of your Standing/General/Pro/VIP seats in a graph in order, it has to be a straight line to get the maximum profit. This will give you an idea of when to upgrade your seats. For example, if the difference between ticket costs of your General and PRO seats is too high, comparatively, then there is a high chance if you upgrade a general to Pro seat, your total income will increase. Always upgrade the seats in the innermost circle as it is a lot cheaper than the seats in outer rings. Hope this helps. Edited by wittyprakash 10-02-2017 09:06 |

And how did you determine this formula? How do you quantify the importance of a match? And what is your variable for randomness? | 09/02/2017 18:55 |

The formula is a guess just from my experience in the game. The actual formula may look slightly different from this. You can easily compare two games and see how the capacity varies between two different games based on the variables involved. @vgates said: How do you quantify the importance of a match? Cup matches and League matches are of high importance than friendly games. |

That formula!!! It will get a noble prize😂😂😂 I neither agree with your formula nor with 2€ increase. It will only mislead people. Let's Forget about friendlies for a while as you get 10-20% of league games. For the ones who used optimize button will know it. The prices will highly depend on the opponent supporters if your supporters are not much.say below 100k And if u play with a manager with 40k supporters and 200k supporters optimize button will revise you the prices on the level of 10-20€ So your 2€ try and learn theory doesn't work. Say u have adjusted your general seat to 100€ and u had 155k in last game. If you play with div1 guy who has 180k supporters Your price is not 102€ but 125-130€ Do u agree with that? |

The 2$ is just relative i.e. when you play against similar opponents. But when you play against good opponents who may have high supporters, a star player, celebrity players etc., we've to increase the ticket prices accordingly. |
