Hi all.

On behalf of the @ team I want to provide an important notice for users who engage in any of the following activities:

1) Sharing of devices or login details to share tactical/formation advice or other assistance.
2) Sharing of login details for account "babysitting".
3) Those buying or selling accounts.

1) Sharing of devices or login details to provide or receive tactical/formation advice or other assistance

I will consider this an interpreted breach of rule 9 of the game, which says:

9**) You are not allowed to help others to excess. Doing so may result in immediate expulsion from the game for both the person providing excess aid and the person receiving it.

From now on, I will not accept as an excuse for multiple users using the same device that they are helping anyone out with tactics, and I will be much more inclined to exclude both teams as per the text in the rules.

2)Sharing of login details for account "babysitting"

Sometimes you will need to take a break from the game. Perhaps you are travelling and don't wish to use data away from home. Maybe you have examinations or just generally need to lighten the load off your daily life. We get it.

Of course, you do not need to inform anyone if and when you are taking a break from the game, but you must do so if you intend on having another user "babysit" your account while you are away. You must do this each time you plan to be absent. The @s, together, will approve absence and babysitting on an arbitrary basis.

Users who have been inactive for more than 45 days may face their team being reset and/or their account being removed. The purpose of the babysitter is to avoid this. As such, we would not expect you to need to have your account babysat for very short absences. This will be judged more like a breach of rule 9 (see above).

To be clear, if you plan on taking a break from the game for whatever reason, and plan on having another user "babysit" your account you must inform an @. If you go on multiple breaks from the game and require another user than you to again babysit your account (even if it's the same babysitter as your previous vacation) you must inform an @ each time.

This applies each time you require a babysitter to look after your account during your absence from the game.

We would expect the account babysitter to do the following:
- Generally do what is in their power to ensure matches go ahead
- Run the physio and psychologist
- Extend training IF NECESSARY
- Promote players from schools and junior squads IF NECESSARY
- Renew player contracts IF NECESSARY

We would NOT expect the account babysitter to do any of the following:
- Buy and sell any players, unless in highly exceptional circumstances
- Engage in any kind of transactions with their own team, if they have one
- Purchase schools
- Change match tactics or formations
- Change player line-ups IF NOT NECESSARY
- Extend training IF NOT NECESSARY
- Promote players from schools and junior squads IF NOT NECESSARY
- Renew player contracts IF NOT NECESSARY
- Remodel the stadium
- Sign up to a private league
- Change the ticket prices
- Change the kit
- Select sponsorship agreements
- Select TV agreements
- Select billboard agreements

There may be extenuating circumstances to the above but but consider how you would expect a babysitter to act in your own home and you should be close to what we need to see. In short, the babysitter's role is to ensure the team is not reset or removed to to lack of account activity of the true owner. It is not so the babysitter can manage the team for themselves. The babysitter might ensure the kids are fed and get to school on time but would not change the kids' school or buy a new TV. The rules of the game still apply, even when the account is being babysat, and you will be responsible for their actions while you are away.

Reasons for babysitting and the line between babysitting and breach of rule 9 (see above) will be assessed by the @s each time.

Please also be sensible when choosing your preferred babysitter. If your babysitter is very far from a keen observer of the rules of the game the request may be rejected (if the absence babysitting request is reported to @s) or seen as more suspicious (if it is not reported to @s).

Failure to report when a babysitter is in place may be judged as either a breach of rule 9 (see above) or rule 1 (see below):

1**) It is forbidden for users to have more than one team. Anyone controlling more than one team have their teams removed and may be expelled from the game....

3) Those buying or selling accounts

While we cannot stop people buying or selling accounts, please be aware that this will very likely cause an IP clash. In serious cases, multiple IP clashes can occur. Only in very, very, very rare cases will @s remove an IP clash, almost certainly never for this reason.
We cannot accept an account being transferred to a new owner as justification for breaking the rules of of the game and we will therefore treat IP breaches, or any other breach of the rules the same way as with established users.
Finally, we will not arbitrate in the sale of the account or do anything if your account details are stolen or "hacked".

Please consider yourself to be warned if any of these three situations applies or appeals to you.
Feel free to pass this among your friends in the game.
