You look at his history, it says he arrived at your team and gives an average of 60. For young players this is usually pretty accurate, or even a low estimate if they have been trained hard. For yours, it's pretty solid that 60-61 is his fully fit average. Say you resign him for 50,000 a week. If that means you get 1million more when you sell him, that means about 20 weeks worth of salary. 35,000 is about right to balance cost per week (the extra 14,000 won't kill the bank at all) vs a fully fit him could well sell for all 17million, more if you're very lucky. |

Right. That's why I say sell the player. The 3 players 45-50 and upgrades mean more to you than 1 60 player. They went back to resetting teams with 0/0/0 on morale/fitness/stamina, which stinks, but you got a bonus in that player. Most people have them stolen via escape clause. You can take care to get top dollar. Right now your 11 pts adrift. You can easily make that up by end of season. Your schedule looks easy for next 3 games. Win those. Ignore your private league games and play people you won't play in your normal league games, rest your starters as best you can. |
