Alright, lets say a player has 75% progression and is increasing by 0.5 per day for a particular training. Is there a way to calculate how much the progression will decrease for each of the following seasons without looking at the player forecast.

Essentially, I'd like to know if my players will keep increasing at the same rate (or a similar rate, but not much less) in the next few seasons without looking at the players' forecast.

Another format of the question:
I know that the progression will decrease with time for all players, because training will eventually make their average decrease so is there a way to find the rate of decrease of progression without looking at the forecast trend?

The progression don't change for a player... In your example it will remain 75% throught...

Only his forcast can change according with the amount of training he receives...

So the player will keep on increasing the same rate till that reaches his peak or gets too old and starts declining..

How does it not change?

If progression is constant, and it stays 75% throughout the player's life then the training should remain constant i.e. he should keep increasing 0.5 until he retires.

I don't know where I'm going wrong.

And also, I don't think the player will keep increasing at the same rate until he reaches the peak because the forecast usually shows a curve, not two lines, one with a positive slope and the other with a negative slope. 31/07/2011 19:35

A player when gets old start to decrease which is usually between 26-28 in this game...
Untill then he'll increase 0.5 everytime you use his training.. But when he gets old he will start decreasing when you use the same training because apparently the players in this game get week bones once they grow old and can't bear the training ...
The decrease will be -0.5 for everytime...

In short progression remains same. Forecast can change.

So what you are saying is that I will wake up one day and find my player decrease by 0.5 rather than increase by 0.5 because he is old?

I thought what would happen is that he will increase by 0.4 then 0.3 then 0.2....0.1.....0...-0.1.....-0.2 and so forth

The slope is mainly because of the peak of player..

Lets say the player peaks at 75...

When he will reach about 70-72 his training speed will decrease which result in the curve....

Wait, now you confused me again. Does it change from 0.5 to -0.5 overnight or is there a period in between where training results in a change between 0.5 and -0.5?

Golden Ball

There should be a year where he plateaus and will have no arrow. (not guaranteed info, but you can see a lot of 26yo w/ no arrows)

AND it won't change from green to red randomly overnight. it will do so between seasons when they add a year to all of the players...

so you will go to sleep one night, season will switch to new one, and everyone will be older. You, one day, your players - one year....

Wait, buddy. What are you saying is that for example a Midfielder of 28 will start decreasing if we use the same training for him. My question is how can we drop that particular player from training? We can not drop a one/two particular players from a training session. This is because "all players on each roster do the same training" (What is Striker). We still need to do midfield training for other midfielders in the team. Someone help, plx. I need a clarification.
