Substitute

Well, one of the Advanced tactics I want to use when I'm up 2 or more goals is to switch from a 3-5-2 formation to 4-5-1 and a high effort to medium effort. To keep my players stamina up and to protect the lead. To do this I'm subbing a CDF in for an RF and moving him down to defense. Quite easy to do actually. However, if the state of the game changes ... it makes it difficult to switch up tactics again. I understand the limitations of the system from a design stand point (where they want a set game plan so that everyone doesn't have to actually watch their game), but to give us this kind of freedom but with large, as you say, "blind spots" makes for quite a challenge. I think my solution of a "no change" option should be easy to implement ... hopefully the devs notice it! For now, I'll just leave my LF in the full game if the game changes too drastically from the set plan. I'm just going to have to rotate players for complete games instead of giving my main guys a rest for the last 15-30 minutes like I did with the old sim. |
