Park all you're guys in opponent penalty box and hope you score a goyal by mistake and your opponent suffers 100 offsides..

How about park all my players in my penalty box to block my goal?

Your players will do foul and he'll get a penalty. Bang you are out.

My opinion that it is an unfair system has not changed by the posts of this thread. Sure, I am far from the most unlucky ones but I am primarily talking about those who are among the most unlucky vs those who are among the most lucky. An argument that it levels itself out in the long run is only theoretically true because this long run might be in the infinite future and because a loss of X millions this season is more worth because of the same loss of X millions next season (because of the inflation).

The Striker cup would be much more fair if there was some form of seeding system and compensation system enabling significantly higher ticket prices when a team is facing an opponent team that is playing in a higher division. That could at least solve the problem partly. It is simply not fair that a div 1 team facing a div 6 team at home earns 30 times more than a div 6 team facing a div 1 team. For me, it is strange that both the game developers and the users of this game seem so conservative, really.

Explanation of the last sentence: Sure the ticket incomes will be divdided equally between the two teams, but it is far too dependent on which team has the home field. If it is to be kept like that, at least the team with the biggest stadium should always play at home. 21/04/2012 09:08

Not being funny now. We have suggested this before and I'm sure the same has been suggested in Spanish server many times. But if the Devs are not doing anything in this matter from 13 seasons I doubt it will be done in future.

This can be because of following reasons.
1. Luck is a big factor in real life so you got that here too...
2. The cup is a very flexible thing. You never know who will be there in the next round. Div 2 People also get out against bots. Plus 2 teams may have exact same stadium and it would be impossible to select who gets to play at home.

The argument could also be made that you haven't lost anything because if the draw doesn't benefit you for a given round, you were never going to make anything in the first place.

Personally I see this argument as moot. You still make something with each cup game (unless there's a bye), and given that you could feasibly get knocked out at any time I would suggest that anything you make from the cup is a bonus, no matter how much it is.

At the very least, budgeting your finances around "potential" cup income is at best suicidal.

As you progress further through the cup you will undoubtedly face teams with great stadiums and it is there you will make the most money. With that model in mind, the only way to get the most money from your cup games is to stay in it as long as you possibly can, hence, the teams that make the finals make the most money from it.

For me, that makes perfect sense.

I do not know what your problem is:

You played 5 games and earned 14 M = 2.8 M avg

I played 5 games and earned 2.3 M avg = 0.46 M avg

This difference in income is still just as great between us as in normal home games?

And yes, I was rather turned off by you in your stadium with 5 M back home again.
