Do you agree with the -20%avg rule for free-gained players during inter-season?

But as I previously said, this was noted in the forum in the week leaving up to the end of season sale (as per last season), and it was recognized by many that signings of €0 were a bit of a bug rather than an intent, so many avoided. Bugs were to be reported rather than taken advantage of (intentionally or not). Unless each case is examined on an individual basis, then fairness won't be %100, and that is too time consuming. I agree with Daisy's suggestion that any free agents at the end of the season should be available for 5-6 days for all users to be able to sign (money would go to the player) rather than a Coach Sec search. Koppington, you're bashing on everybody that signed free players, but when I look at your transfer history (http://uk.strikermanager.com/inicio.php?accion=/usuario.php%3Fid%3D10314107), signing free players is the only thing you did last season.. That's why your attitude loses all of its credibility.. If you had been active in the season-ending (what a good manager would have done), you would have done the same.. It's just your own fault, and now you're trying to bring the whole game down by opposing the propotition of the admins. Just accept the proposition of the admin, so that we can close this topic and go on with the game |

Anyone who hadn't seen the thread wouldn't have had a clue; anyone who had seen the thread would not have trusted any conclusions from it. |

Just weighing in. I agree that the -10% solution is a fair(er) solution to the issue. I would support that conclusion. I also appreciate @rand for acknowledging that all of those who bought players for $0 were not cheaters. | 21/06/2011 17:35 |

I recognize that they ended up in a situation that was mainly not their fault, and have suggested that they shouldn't be overly punished by the admins in their attempt to make the situation 'fairer'. I signed free youth players during the regular season and sold them. Show me where in the rules where is says I, or anyone, can't do so? That doesn't effect my credibility, it just shows that you are unable to comprehend the system. I was active at the end of season, and saw the thread explaining what was occurring, but I avoided this situation. Why can't you understand this basic reasoning. Trying to bring the whole game down? You need to get your head examined. |

That's why I've stated a few times that the admins should have sent notice on this, and that there should be an appropriate method of making things 'fairer' again. It was noted by a lot of people. The dozen or so replies doesn't account for those that would have viewed the thread. |

If we are all agreed with 10%, let's move on and put this chapter behind us. If a manger made a shit loads of money selling these free players, because I was offered some on my personal message after that person seeing me paying for players in the auction, could kindly offer the money back. It was obvious and transparent what happened over the weekend even some new managers(div 7) were at it!
