Do you agree with the -20%avg rule for free-gained players during inter-season?

This is really not fair. Now the managers who got the players still have to pay their salaries. Not to mention the players that were released (in many cases fired) to clear up space for the new players. I say that the player's stats should be restored! Please! |

@Rand said: Users who have abused the game rules should get a penalty. That is my opinion. I agree with the penalty, but i have to say that i have proposed an even severer one, but it was not accepted. Abused the rules? Dude, most of us had no idea there was a glitch. I figured that since it was the end of the season, the managers who did not resign their players were getting dinged... And now the people that actually PLAY the game get penalized. I've got a suggestion. Players original stats should be returned. Every other manager who didn't benefit from this bug should be compensated. | 20/06/2011 14:34 |

I agree with the penalty, but i have to say that i have proposed an even severer one, but it was not accepted. Edited by @Rand 20-06-2011 12:28 This was not a bug but a real life example. If you have a team and the player's contract expires and he's not resigning with his team he gets put on a market in an attempt to sell him. If noone buys him for one reason or another after the end of the season he becomes free agent and anyone can sign him for free and that's exactly what happened. Pro teams do it all the time (NHL for example). So, why is it against the rules to sign a free agent? Even in coach secretary and scout you have an option to search for a player without a team, thus searching for free agents... It really upsets me because you guys put me in a group with pretty much strongest teams in the league (when my team wasn't that strong I finished 4th in my last group) and now some of my players decreased in average just because I signed them as free agents after everyone looked at them and didn't want to buy. I think what players did was fair and square. For all I care now, may as well put me back in Div 5, so at least I'll be playing with even teams. Let me say it again, signing free agents is not a bug or against the rules, it's done in real life and it's done through this game through coach secretary or scout, or shortlist. You send out a scout or a coach secretary to search for players without a team, or you can search for a player on his last year and then keep an eye on him to see if resigns a contract. When I joined the game I saw new teams come in with 55-60+ average players at the start and I had just an average 40+ players who I had to train to make a fairly good team. Last season every player was put on the market at $0, and after all of the teams spent their money on buying them and fighting over them tons of players were bought for next to nothing. This season players who wasn't purchased went on to free agents and people signed them. So, I get put in a league with some of the top teams, and now I get punished for trying to better my squad and stand up to the "big dogs"... That's where it becomes unfair. In top 10 teams list 5 of them are in my group, so punish me for trying to stand up to them by signing free agents. Why is it breaking the rules of the game? Player went on the market... noone bought him.... he became a free agent, and get's signed. Admins, that's how it's done in real life. Edited by Romasik2000 20-06-2011 15:37 |

they wont be cristiano, problem here is that not everybody is going to pay for this and is not fair. The managers who signed good players like 70 av they will be having still a good player like 60 av, other managers who signed good players and sold them they have the money to keep investing in good players or reforming stadium which is more money to come,This people are not gonna be punish. At list all should be at the same place, how ?¿ all the players signed free should been decrease to 40 av no matter if they were 50 or 70 and all the managers who´s sold this players have to give the money taken back to the others who signe CUALITY players an see how their player decrease | 20/06/2011 15:16 |
